Nineteen; you'll figure out the rest along the way.

You know what’s crazy?

I just realized that Tev and I have talked on the phone every night since he graduated boot camp & MCT in the middle on June. Every. Night. That’s like, 5 months. Granted there’s been a handful of times we haven’t cause we were actually together, or he fell asleep, or one of us was out drinking - all of which are rare.
Its crazy to think that something that physically tore us apart, actually brought us even closer

Now that my Marine has graduated from MCT, he is in Florida waiting to start his schooling. His MOS is called Advanced Avionics Technician, meaning he works inside the planes. (And just to brag, he was to only one to get placed in the Advanced!) I’m still getting used to him having his cell now. I can count with one hand how many times we’ve talked on the phone while he was away for 4 months. I treasure texts & feel as though calls are such a luxury. The Marines are too kind, haha. His school is slightly backed up for 3 weeks but its okay. I was afraid it was going to be more, cause Tristan’s is backed up for 4 months. I didn’t want Tevs to because I just want this over with and on to the next. Which is probably more school but who knows. It was so great to see him after 4 weeks apart; nothing on the 3 months but still. The next thing to look forward to is 4th of July weekend! I’ll be going up there, hopefully with Oscar & another person, so I don’t have to drive by myself for 8 hours & so Tev and I can finally have some alone time! To talk about serious things & cuddle! We got to talk alittle on Family Day about serious things. One thing was about getting engaged! I’m so happy & I can’t wait for that day! He truly is “the one” and we have no doubts in each other. Something great about us is that we don’t have to worry at all about one of us cheating, & it’s such a blessing. I just love him so much ā¤

I wish friends held hands more often, like the children I see on the streets sometimes. Iā€™m not sure why we have to grow up and get embarrassed about it. Stephanie Perkins (Anna And The French Kiss)
